Terms

You must be 18 or older. Before your first claim, and before you first swap a Stock Token in the app, the app shows you the rules that apply and you confirm them yourself: this page, the 18+ rule, and Robinhood's own terms for Stock Tokens, which restrict who may hold them (for example US persons). We do not check where you are standing or where you are from to decide that for you. Reading those terms and deciding whether they let you take part is your responsibility.

One human, one account. Do not sign up for someone else, and do not sign up a minor.

Stand inside the radius of a real gas station, tap, pass the checks, and the prize pool pays an amount of the USO Stock Token to your wallet. The USO Stock Token is issued by Robinhood Assets (Jersey) Limited and tracks the United States Oil Fund. It is a tokenised debt security that gives economic exposure to that fund; it is not a share of anything, carries no rights in the fund, is not insured, and can fall in value.

Claiming is free. What a claim pays is drawn from a prize table for your car's tier; every draw pays something, and no draw is owed to you. The prize pool pays what the prize pool holds: a quiet week means small prizes and a loud week means bigger ones. It is not yield, not a dividend and not a return, and walking to a station is not a job.

The prize pool wallet's balance, every payout and the fee recipient are readable on Robinhood Chain; the proof page reads them from chain, not from us.

To claim, your wallet must hold a Gas NFT, a car. The first car is minted by you, free or for a small fee; nobody is given one silently. A car's tier sets which prize table your claims draw from and how long you wait between claims. A car can be upgraded one tier at a time by paying $GAS, which goes to the wallet we buy $GAS back with and to the treasury. Prize tables, cooldowns and prices are policy: they are published in the app and can change with notice, and a change never applies to a claim already paid.

Money from minting or upgrading never funds a claim. Claims are paid only from USO already sitting in the prize pool.

Not allowed: faking your position, automating claims, running many accounts or wallets as one person, interfering with the API, or reusing a photo. The server checks your position, your device, your car and its cooldown, and, when it asks, a photo of the pump taken on the spot. It refuses a claim that does not pass.

A refusal costs you nothing and comes with a reason code, never the threshold. If you think a refusal was wrong, email support@fillgas.xyz and a person reviews it within 72 hours. Deliberate fraud means your claims are suspended; tokens already paid are not taken back, because they cannot be.

Your wallet is non-custodial, created by Privy when you sign in with Google or X. You hold the key and can export it at any time from the Deposit tab of the Buy Gas page. If you lose access to the account you signed in with and have not exported the key, the tokens in that wallet are gone, and we cannot recover them. Robinhood Chain charges gas for your claim transaction; when we sponsor it, that is a courtesy, not a promise.

The prize pool pays from a reserve that refills from trading fees. Limits hold per wallet, per station, per device, per network and per map area. The prize pool pays only what it holds, and the amount shrinks as the pool empties. A claim that does not fit is refused, never trimmed. Each wallet has one cooldown, set by how many Gas NFTs it holds, and each station has a daily count and six pumps. The current numbers are published in the app.

We can pause claims, close a station that is unsafe or no longer exists, or change limits when the prize pool runs low, when someone abuses a spot, or when Robinhood changes what Stock Tokens can do.

A gas station is a place with moving cars and fuel. Look up from the phone. Do not claim while driving, cycling or fuelling. Do not trespass, cross a motorway, or enter staff-only areas. You take part at your own risk. Tell us about an unsafe station at support@fillgas.xyz and we will close it.

The service is provided as it is, with the faults it has. We do not promise uptime, the value of any token, or the behaviour of Robinhood Chain, Privy, or any other party we depend on. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, which for most players is nothing.

Nothing on this page removes a right that the consumer law of your country gives you, and nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

The company behind Gas is being set up. Until it is incorporated, you contract with the person who runs Gas, reachable at support@fillgas.xyz. This page will name the company, its registration number, its address and the governing law and venue the day the company exists.

Until then, the consumer protection law of the country you live in applies to you, and you can bring a claim in your own courts. We will only ever bring a claim against you in your own country.

A change to these terms that affects how you play is announced in the app and on the site 30 days before it applies; playing on after that is acceptance. Fixing a typo, or moving a limit within the ranges this page already describes, does not start that clock.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@fillgas.xyz: your profile and off-chain history are erased. On-chain transfers stay, and a key you exported keeps working after deletion.

An X handle you link and anything you choose to show on your profile are public. No illegal material, slurs, harassment, impersonation, sexual content, or advertising. We remove what breaks this, tell you why, and you can appeal to support@fillgas.xyz.
